How To Get Rid of Hemroids

Hemroids can be difficult to live with. For those that currently have or have had hemroids, the number one question is: How can I get rid of hemroids? To answer this, you first need to understand what hemroids are.

Hemroids are varicose veins in and around the anus. These swollen veins are the cause of the irritation and pain. They are very sensitive and will usually bleed during bowel movements.

Treating these swollen veins can be accomplished in one of two ways:

First, the option most often presented by doctors, is surgery. In this procedure, a surgeon will do one of two things. For smaller hemroids, the surgeon may place a strong latex band around the vein. This cuts off circulation, in turn killing the tissue causing the hemroid to die and fall off. For larger hemroids, the surgeon will cut out the offending vein and surrounding tissue. Recovery from this procedure is very painful. It can be several weeks before the area is fully recovered.

The second option is natural treatment. Many have found that natural treatment of their hemroids has improved their condition considerably. All without the cost and pain of a surgical procedure. For more information on getting rid of hemroids naturally, click here.
